Exmoor Caviar - Baerii
Our ‘entry level’ caviar, Baerii offers fantastic value for money. This caviar is quite traditional showing a medium sized, dark brown to black grain. The flavour is full and pronounced, with a smooth texture and long finish. Priced at £1200 per kilo. Sturgeon species: Acipenser Baerii (BAE)
About Baerii Caviar
Produced at our partner farm in Germany this a great example of a Baerii caviar. Named after its Latin species name Acipenser Baerii, it is now one of the most commonly raised species of sturgeon for caviar. This was previously labelled as Classic Oscietra Caviar.
Caviar Pairing Notes
This caviar is wonderful for canapes, served with smoked salmon or eggs. Add a layer of Baerii Caviar to provide a modern twist to a traditional steak tartare!
